Women! Women! Women! They are marvelous when it comes to managing themselves and others around them in adverse situations but when the same ‘others’ put them down and try to pin-point flaws, these women give in easily, for they love self-depreciation. Hence, they often end up needing a shoulder to cry on. Lady, You’re the Boss is a self-help book that’s like a beacon of hope for all the women who wish to see themselves up the ladder of success in terms of personal as well as professional growth.
Lady, You’re the Boss uses a genial tone yet a firm narrative that asserts the importance of taking reins of your life in YOUR hands. Blessed with the ability to multitask, women, if they’re strong-willed, can become stronger leaders too. All it takes is a positive outlook and a determined spirit. While for most people, the flesh is often weaker than the willing spirit, for women, it’s the other way round. This book serves as a clarion call that promises to wake up the will to do something and make an impact on oneself and on the world.
Lady You’re the Boss is taut yet relatable because we all sail in the same boat. It encourages you to take charge and ignore what the sour grapes have to offer. It encourages you to be yourself amidst the crowd. To accept your flaws and shine through the dilemmas.
All in all, it’s a book (not that it’s the only book on this theme) that’s well-written. Readers will connect with what the writer has in her mind!
