… a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone if it is to keep its edge. In the chaotic world of today, it is imperative to understand the power that our mind has over our actions and behaviour. Guide to Inner Wellness deals with the changes that one needs to make in their life in order to be able to combat the real-life challenges and not stagger when things don’t go as planned. Through this book, the author stresses the importance of peace and calm in helping us make sound choices.
Using the knowledge from the Yagnas and the Shanti Karanam mantras from the Vedas, the author helps the readers attain inner peace and harmony. Deftly pointing out the consequences of depending too much on technology, the author provides options and methods to focus on the treasure that’s hidden in the ancient scriptures. He provides a collection of mantras that, when chanted, can help in relieving stress. I liked this book because of its planning and execution; it’s different from the other self-help books. What I disliked was the repetitive content in several chapters where the author mentioned the over-utilization of technology.
Overall, this book can be given a try if you looking for something that will help you practice meditation and discover a new side of yourself.
Best wishes to the author!
