It’s a Mom Thing
Author: Sathya Ramaganapathy
Publisher: Rupa Publishers
Rating: 4/5
Subjective and set in the Southern part of India, this is a story is composed of several anecdotes weaved together to form a strong and entertaining narrative. The author cherry picks some of the best instances that prove how the millennial generation is more advanced than their parents and how the parents use their wisdom and tactics to balance the generation gap. Beautifully crafted, this book offers an insight into the life of one mother who battles between two age groups and manages to come to grips with Math, Agatha Cristie and Football Clubs!
Overall, I liked reading this book because it was fast-paced light humour. A good bet indeed!
