Your Life Your Way

Rating: 2/5
Your Life Your Way is a self-help book that uses the principles of Business Management to help individuals understand their ambitions and transform their passion into a well-paying profession. Divided into two parts, the author deftly divides the information under two headings- identifying your passion and the secret principles that can help you get paid using your skills to the fullest. Citing examples of some of the very prominent people like Mark Zuckerberg and Steve Jobs, the author makes an attempt to highlight the importance of ‘doing what you love’. At one point of time, the content does get repetitive but I cannot do without mentioning that the real crux of this book lies in the chapter that teaches the readers to identify their niche and strive to have a stronger foothold in that field.
Overall, this book is a very short read but owing to poor editing, it failed to leave a lasting impression on me. Secondly, the story that is used as a scaffold to sho application of the lessons in real-life was lacklustre. The language is crude and fails to hold the attention for longer.
Best wishes to the author!
