Love knows no bounds; when it happens, it happens irrespective of caste, creed, status, race and religion. ‘Love beyond 22 Yards’ is a collection of short biographies of the gladiators with a bat. The connection between Bollywood and Cricket has had a timeless history and this book presents us with the love stories that brewed between the actors and the players (pun intended). Though we would have read or heard of most of the stories, yet there are certain aspects of the relationship that this book exposes well.

Well-researched and well- crafted, ‘Love beyond 22 Yards’ not only focusses on the affection between the people belonging to two different professions but also highlights the need to have the courage to take a stand and break free from the stereotypes. With an average cover, the book is suitable for light reading. At some places, one can spot grammatical errors too.

Overall, the book offers an insightful experience altogether.
