The strongest person in the world is a grieving mother that wakes up and keeps going every morning.
Reading this true story was not easy, for it moved me. This story is about a little boy whose indomitable spirit doesn’t let him succumb to the obstacles that destiny throws in his path. It is also the story about a mother who is not only resilient but also audacious enough to make peace with the bitter truth so that her child can be at peace.
Blaze, as the name suggests, is about the inherent burning fire that Divyansh Atman was born with. Inspite of suffering from a terminal disease like leukaemia, his willpower to do something worthwhile with his life sets a solid example for each one of us. In this biographical account, Nidhi and Sushil Poddar pen down an emotional yet remarkable journey of their son who broke the shackles of adversities and ensured that he lived every moment to the fullest. His attitude towards life not only helped him in creating wonderful memories but also aided his parents in coping with the loss. It was his spirit and the enthusiasm to conquer all odds that prompted his parents to come to grips with the truth and not yield before the circumstances.
Brilliantly written and power-packed with emotions, Blaze is a poignant tale that is sure to make your eyes well-up. It is heart-wrenching to read about a mother’s struggle, a father’s vulnerability and a son’s helplessness in finding a solution to this fateful problem. Yet there is a light at the end of the dark tunnel, for the brave heart didn’t leave any stone unturned in carving a path to success despite battling with a serious ailment.
Kudos to the parents and more strength to them!
